Ethena Labs is building Ethena Pay, a neobanking experience built on our stablecoin rails. You will own the engineering of the product, shape the architecture, hire the team, and ship the hardest parts yourself.

This hands-on, player-coach role expects you to code daily alongside engineers, set a high bar for reliability, and grow a small team into a high‑performing unit that ships fast and safely.

Competenze

• Led engineering for a consumer money product with real financial stakes.
• Managed a small team while contributing code and shipping production features.
• Owned production operations, incidents, and observability.
• Experience with regulated rails (card issuing/BaaS or related).
• Delivered results in an agile, high-velocity environment with TDD/BDD.

Mansioni

• Write and ship production code as a top IC, tackling the hardest paths.
• Own the architecture and data models, ensuring correctness and extensibility.
• Build and mentor a small senior team, raising hiring standards.
• Set a high engineering bar with reviews, CI, testing, and safety practices.
• Oversee delivery cadence with versioned releases and healthy backlogs.
• Establish reliable on-call, runbooks, and incident response.
