Job summary

Siemens seeks an ICX Engineering Manager for the Americas to build and lead the Americas ICX engineering team—pre-sales engineers that ideate and create agentic AI engagements grounded in an enterprise ontology.

You will recruit, mentor and coach engineers, shape customer solutions, and collaborate with sales and global ICX leaders to scale the practice across zones in the Americas. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Leading technical teams — formal management or team-lead roles for customer-facing FDE, presales, services or other technical teams.
• Technical consulting leadership — leading client engagements and delivery teams in agentic AI, data and analytics.
• Recruiting and developing engineers — hiring strong people, coaching them and growing their careers.
• Senior customer presence — leading working sessions with technical and business stakeholders, including executives, on key opportunities.
• Data engineering and analytics — making sense of how a company's data is spread across its systems, bringing it together and modelling it.
• Modern data and AI platforms — experience working with platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Google Cloud, AWS data lakes, Palantir or C3.ai.
• Agentic AI — designing agents and AI solutions grounded in enterprise data: LLMs, retrieval, tool use, MCP.
• Agentic development tools — Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar, used to build quickly and well.
• Enterprise ontology — modelling a real business domain as an ontology or knowledge graph and putting it to work in an enterprise.
• Machine learning and data science — building models that solve real business problems, such as forecasting, anomaly detection or classification.
• Experience in our industries — manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, pharma, aerospace or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and build the Americas ICX engineering team and presales efforts.
• Model customer domains as enterprise ontologies and develop agentic AI solutions.
• Deliver working agentic applications that demonstrate business value.
• Recruit, coach, and grow engineers; align with global ICX leaders.
• Collaborate with sales and partners; report to Americas Pre-Sales Leader.
• Ensure consistency across engagements and scale learnings.
• Travel up to 25%.
