Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field; Master’s/MBA a plus.
• 3+ years in a leadership role within mechanical/hardware development.
• Proficiency with Creo or SolidWorks; hardware development and sheet metal experience a plus.
• Experience with electrical connectors and cable harnessing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects, resources, and engineering communication during design, development, and testing of components, hardware, and mechanical systems for custom cable connections to high-density PCBAs.
• Oversee project timelines; ensure milestones and deliverables are met on schedule; coordinate with internal units and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including signal integrity, product management, and manufacturing, to ensure cohesive product development.
• Develop and implement engineering development processes and best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Manage resource allocation and budgeting for hardware development projects.
• Lead growth plan for the team; participate in interviews and onboarding of new hires.
