Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a skilled hotel maintenance technician for the laundry area to manage preventive maintenance, document work orders, and repair laundry equipment including dryers, washers, and steam pressers.

The role requires at least two years of hotel or commercial building maintenance experience, plus one year in kitchen and laundry equipment; refrigeration experience is a plus. Strong communication, attention to detail, and physical stamina are essential.

Qualificações

• Previous maintenance experience required; hotel experience and training preferred.
• Minimum of two years hotel and/or commercial building maintenance required.
• One year of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment experience required; commercial refrigeration experience a plus.
• Previous experience with response to emergency situations is required.
• Good communication, attention to detail, time management, computer and guest satisfaction skills are required.
• Knowledge in electrical systems, low voltage controls, plumbing and gas.
• Experience reading schematics.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and repair as quickly and efficiently as possible.
• Communicate with manager to coordinate, acknowledge, document and complete the work necessary.
• Assist other general maintenance associates with work as needed. May be required to work in other areas of the resort when necessary.
• Completes other duties as assigned

Essential Functions:

• Maintain a maintenance and project checklist/schedule for preventive maintenance and ongoing improvements on all equipment used in the laundry.
• Working knowledge of all machines, including but not limited to dryers, sheet and towel folders, washers, and steam presser.
• Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and repair as quickly and efficiently as possible.
• Communicate with manager to coordinate, acknowledge, document and complete the work necessary.
• Assist other general maintenance associates with work as needed. May be required to work in other areas of the resort when necessary.
• Completes other duties as assigned

Tools and Equipment:

• Radio
• Telephone
• Various tools as needed for specific work
• Steam presser, washing machine, dryers

Working Environment:

• Interior of hotel. Exposure to extreme heat and humidity.
• Exposure to hazardous laundry cleaning chemicals.

• The ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

• The ability to utilize step stools and ladders.

• Knowledge in electrical systems, low voltage controls, plumbing and gas

• Experience in reading schematics.
