Job Description:

Job Title – Engineering Lab Technician

Location – Charlotte, NC

Duration – 12 Months

Work Schedule: M - F

Pay Range: $26.30 per hour

Job Summary:

• Supports lab functions for production/development teams

• Handles setup, calibration, testing, data recording, and supply management

• Focus on set-up/tear-down tasks

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with setup/tear-down of large water-cooled chillers

Role Purpose:

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems

• Operate and maintain test setups

• Understand 460-3-60 machinery and medium voltage systems

• Familiarity with HVAC, refrigerant handling, pumps, VFDs, boilers

• LO/TO and Arc Flash knowledge beneficial

• Use industrial tools to support chiller testing

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• 3+ years experience with hand/pneumatic tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• HVAC or commercial equipment experience

• Lab equipment setup with pressure/temp/electrical focus
