Job description

An established and leading Precision Timing & Frequency Technology Firm is looking for an Engineering Lab Manager to support the assembly, alignment, and testing of RF/Microwave electronic component assemblies, from PC sub‑assemblies to modules to system integration.

Responsibilities

• Generation of in‑process test procedures and data sheets for PCAs, modules, and top‑level system testing.
• Review of customer performance specifications (EQ spec) and customer‑supplied documents.
• Top‑level system test requirements, including thermal cycling, thermal vacuum, vibration, shock, and EMI testing.
• Generation of engineering documentation, including:
• Test support for engineers, technicians, and engineering associates.
• Tools (universal for RF/Microwave assemblies).
• Test equipment specific to each program.
• Technical understanding of typical system designs, encompassing:
• Familiarity with EEE parts selection, including characterization/evaluation, screening, traceability, and derating requirements for space applications.

Education and Required Skills

10 years of engineering experience, working in a Product Lifecycle Management System.
