ARCXIS is seeking a talented Engineering Job Captain to join our team in Texas. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to design and execute projects, ensuring on-time delivery and high quality.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of engineering design and project management experience, proficiency in CAD and Revit, and a solid understanding of building codes and standards. This in-office role offers a collaborative environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of 5 years in engineering design and project management.
• Proficiency in CAD, Revit, and other design software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to meet deadlines and client requirements.
• Review, redline and quality check drawings, specifications, and calculations using CAD, Revit, Forte and other design software.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information and assess project conditions.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies for approvals and permits.
• Assist in preparation of project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
• Review project documentation for compliance with industry standards and codes.
• Provide technical guidance to designer staff.
• Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Stay current with advancements in engineering technology, codes, and regulations.
