Job summary

MITRE is seeking motivated student interns to work across Digital and Model-Based Engineering, AI-Enabled Systems, and Systems Security Engineering. You will contribute to mission and systems-of-systems engineering efforts and gain exposure to aerospace and mechanical engineering domains.

Interns must remain enrolled in a related degree program and maintain excellent academic standing, with a minimum on-site commitment of three days per week. U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be a student enrolled full-time pursuing an accredited degree seeking program in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or a related degree program.
• Must continue to be enrolled the semester following the internship.
• Foundational knowledge of systems engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or physics methodologies, frameworks, tools and/or programming languages.
• Must have sustained excellence in academic performance.
• This position has an on-site requirement of 3 days a week minimum.
