Job summary

The Walsh Group in Southern California is offering internships designed to prepare you for leadership positions on and off the jobsite. Interns may travel across the United States and rotate through project engineering, field management, estimating and preconstruction to gain hands-on experience.

The base pay for this internship is $22-$26 per hour, with benefits including medical insurance, paid holidays, 401(k) matching and an employee assistance program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's degree preferred.
• Willing to relocate for specific roles.
• Ability to commit to a 12-week schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assisting project manager or field supervision staff with project coordination.
• Estimating cost for change orders.
• Soliciting bidders and coordinating subcontractor activity.
• Scheduling of contracts and materials.
• Document control.
• Coordination of subcontractors.
• Safety management.
• Participation in team meetings.
• Writing RFIs, submittals, and assisting in change orders.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred
