Job summary

The Walsh Group in Southern California is seeking interns to gain hands-on experience in project engineering and field management on-site or in the office. Interns may travel across the United States within our divisions to learn from multiple projects and departments.

Salary for this internship is expected to be between $22-$26/hr. The program prepares you for leadership roles after graduation and may lead to a full-time position with benefits and opportunities across the company.

Qualifications

• Seeking a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• The ability to work a 12-week work schedule is preferred.
• Specific roles may require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers or field supervision staff with project coordination.
• Estimate costs for change orders.
• Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity.
• Schedule contracts and materials.
• Document control.
• Coordinate subcontractors.
• Safety management.
• Participation in team meetings.
• Write RFIs, submittals, and assist in change orders.
