Job summary

Walsh Group in Southern California is offering an internship program designed to prepare you for leadership positions both on and off the jobsite. Interns will gain hands-on experience in project engineering and field management, with opportunities to travel across the United States and across divisions.

The role may lead to full-time employment after graduation and offers a base pay of $22–$26 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to commit to a 12-week work schedule.
• Some roles may require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager or field supervision staff with project coordination
• Estimate costs for change orders
• Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity
• Schedule contracts and materials
• Document control
• Coordinate subcontractors
• Support safety management
• Participate in team meetings
• Write RFIs and submittals, assist in change orders
