Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking dental interns to participate in an Engineering Internship/Co-op Summer 2027 at multiple locations in the Southeast, including Dalton, GA. You will work on-site in manufacturing facilities, rotating between school and work or sequentially, and collaborate with engineering staff on real projects.

Participants gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional development for future career success.

Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Operations, Chemical, Materials, Automation, or related engineering field.
Must have completed at least 3 semesters of college coursework.
Co-op status must be registered with university's official co-op program or career services office.
Minimum GPA of 2.5; full-time student status highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Engage in on-site engineering projects in Shaw’s manufacturing facilities.
Work with engineering staff to apply knowledge to real-world facility projects.
Participate in rotational or sequential school/work semesters as part of the internship/co-op program.
Develop progressively advanced skills, preparing for full-time engineering roles after graduation.
