Job summary

Covestro is offering an Engineering Internship in the United States for a 3-month summer assignment (May to August 2027). You\'ll participate in a range of engineering activities to support day-to-day and ongoing projects at Covestro\'s U.S.

plants, with opportunities to work on process improvements and capital projects. Candidates must be enrolled in an engineering Bachelor\'s program with related majors and a minimum GPA; prior internship experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program with a major in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Materials Science or Plastics).
• Completion of Freshman year.
• Overall GPA of 3.0 (if stated).

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day and ongoing engineering projects.
• Assist in design of unit operations and process improvements at Covestro's U.S. plants.
• Contribute to capital projects and reliability, safety, and environmental compliance initiatives.

As an Engineering Intern within Covestro, incumbents will be responsible for a wide range of engineering activities to support day-to-day and ongoing projects.

Candidates must be available for a 3-month assignment during the Summer of 2027 (May to August).

The pay range starts at $23.68 per hour to $29.21 per hour.

WHAT YOU OFFER

Basic Qualifications:

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program with a major in Engineering with focus in Chemical, Mechanical, Material Science, Plastics
• Completion of Freshman year
• Overall GPA of 3.0

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of junior year
• Previous internship or co-op experience is a plus
