Job summary

HNTB's Wisconsin offices in Madison/Ashwaubenon/Milwaukee seek intern engineers in Structures and Traffic Management Planning. Responsibilities include assisting engineering teams, research, and preparation of drawings; relocation is not provided.

Internship requires enrollment in an accredited engineering program and a high school diploma or GED. Proficiency with MS Office and basic engineering concepts is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; enrolled in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to follow guidance from peers and supervisors.
• Understand introductory shop drawing/submittal procedures.
• Ability to perform basic engineering calculations.
• Ability to organize information for drawings/documents.

Responsibilities

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with preparation of engineering drawings and documents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
