Job summary

W.R. Case in Bradford, PA is seeking an office hourly, on-site engineering intern to support process improvement and documentation. You will develop experiments, test equipment, and prepare engineering memos and reports under supervision.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, using MS Word/Excel/Outlook, and proposing corrective actions. Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering tech with at least one year of credits is expected.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology with a minimum of one year engineering credits
• Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Microsoft AX operating system preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct experiments to improve current processes and develop new processes or products
• Formulate corrective action reports based on testing and research; recommend design/process changes and implement approved changes
• Research new processes, operations, and manufacturing equipment
• Set-up and test new equipment and process as deemed appropriate
• Prepare memos, reports, and engineering related documentation
• Use computer and necessary software to write reports; develop spreadsheets, charts, tables, graphs to support reports
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and related documentation including charts and formulas (MS Word – Excel – Outlook – AutoCAD)
• Monitor and record problems with process and mechanical equipment and recommend corrective action
• Perform any other duties related in nature which may be assigned
