Job summary

Kalmbach Feeds is seeking an Engineering Intern to support process improvement projects in a manufacturing setting. You’ll assist production, safety, maintenance, and quality teams and help implement changes while communicating with staff and management.

This role involves data collection, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to understand current processes and opportunities for improvement. Local commuting to Carey, OH is expected.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Industrial Systems, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong math and analytical skills are required.
• Experience with 2D modeling software (AutoCAD or SolidWorks) is preferred.
• Detail oriented and able to learn quickly in a manufacturing setting.
• Motivated to build a career in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production, safety, maintenance, and quality process improvements.
• Collect data and develop reports to justify improvements.
• Participate in troubleshooting events as needed.
• Collaborate with staff across departments on process changes.
• Support other assigned engineering tasks as required.
