Minerals Technologies Inc. (MTI) is seeking an Engineering Intern to support projects aimed at safety, quality, productivity, reliability, sustainability, and process performance.

You will work with engineers and cross-functional teams to gain hands-on experience in project management, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives while contributing to business objectives. The intern will assist in manufacturing-related projects, collect and analyze data, support optimization efforts,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
• Experience with data analysis or CAD is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Assist with engineering projects related to manufacturing, process improvement, equipment reliability, product quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Collect and interpret technical and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity initiatives.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment and production-related issues.
• Participate in project planning, execution, and tracking activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and presentations.
• Conduct research to support engineering recommendations and goals.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, environmental, and safety teams on projects.
• Support capital projects and equipment upgrades as assigned.
• Participate in plant, laboratory, office, and field activities as required.
• Present project findings to leadership at the end of the internship.
