Job summary

Lanco Integrated in Westbrook, ME, is seeking an Engineering Intern – Mechanical Focus to join our team on-site. You will help create part drawings, prepare BOMs, and support machine builds and debugging during the internship.

This position is 20-40 hours per week, ideal for engineering students interested in automation and mechanical design, with exposure to SolidWorks and 3D CAD. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an engineering program.
• Interest in automation and mechanical design.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• 3D CAD exposure; SolidWorks is a plus.
• Capable of performing basic mechanical engineering computations.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed drawings of parts and assemblies.
• Prepare BOMs, assembly drawings, detail drawings, and station documentation.
• Support machine build, assembly, and debug.
• High performers may take on station design tasks.
• Assist with vendor correspondence and RFQs.
• Assist in development of standards in mechanical design.
• Assist Customer Service in support of Field Engineering.
• Assist in projects the Project Engineers or Engineering Management may be involved in.

Pay Range: $20 - $25 per hour, based on experience

Location: Lanco Integrated – Westbrook, ME

Lanco Integrated is seeking an Engineering Intern – Mechanical Focus to join our growing team. This is an on-site internship located at our facility in Westbrook, Maine. The position will be 20-40 hours per week, depending on workload and availability.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Create detailed drawings of parts and assemblies
• Prepare BOMs, assembly drawings, detail drawings, and station documentation
• Support machine build, assembly, and debug
