Job summary

Stryten Energy’s Salina, Kansas facility is seeking engineering interns for a May–August 2027 program. The role is on-site, 40 hours per week, paid, with housing and transportation responsibilities noted as required from you.

You'll work to learn lean concepts, apply 5S, perform time studies, and support CAD-driven improvements under senior guidance, with opportunities to participate in Kaizen events and training across production areas.

Qualifications

• Graduating between DEC 2027 and MAY 2029.
• GPA 3.0 or greater is expected.
• Must have housing and transportation.
• On-site daily work is required.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Learn lean concepts through training provided.
• Implement 5S techniques throughout the plant.
• Identify lean wastes and opportunities and propose solutions.
• Provide training for lean concepts if needed.
• Perform time studies.
• Design CAD improvements if required.
• Participate in Kaizen/SMED events.
