Job summary

Dexter Laundry, Inc. in Fairfield, Iowa, seeks ambitious engineering interns to design, test, and improve smart, connected commercial laundry equipment. You’ll work with experienced engineers on real-world product development from day one.

You’ll gain exposure to manufacturing, automation, IoT systems, embedded controls, data analytics, and quality engineering, with mentorship and hands-on projects that impact customers worldwide. This is a true, hands-on internship, not a watch-and-learn role.

Qualifications

• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing.
• Hands-on engineering work in a fast-paced, small-team environment.
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint; CAD experience a plus).
• Clear communication and willingness to collaborate.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and improve the next generation of smart, connected commercial laundry equipment.
• Work directly with experienced engineers to build, test, analyze, code, design, and solve problems from day one.
• Gain exposure to product development, manufacturing engineering, automation, IoT systems, robotics, embedded controls, data analytics, and quality engineering.
