Job summary

Nikkiso ACD is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering-focused intern at our Santa Ana, CA facility. The role involves supporting production through creating pictorial work instructions, BOO documentation, and simple rework travelers for non-conforming parts, while collaborating with operators and engineers.

• Creating pictorial work instructions of assemblies and processes
• Creating/revise simple (BOO) Bills of Operations
• Creating simple rework travelers for non-conforming parts
• Designing simple tooling and fixtures
• Identifying process improvement opportunities
• Observing and working with operators to understand/improve processes.
• Utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodology to work with the production team and engineers.
• Improving and modifying facility layout – workflow and material flow guidelines
