Job summary

Nikkiso ACD in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a manufacturing engineering student or recent graduate to support assembly processes and tooling design. The role focuses on creating clear pictorial work instructions, maintaining BOOs, and developing rework travelers for non-conforming parts.

Job Overview

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Creating pictorial work instructions of assemblies and processes
• Creating/revise simple (BOO) Bills of Operations
• Creating simple rework travelers for non-conforming parts
• Designing simple tooling and fixtures
• Identifying process improvement opportunities
• Observing and working with operators to understand/improve processes.
• Utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodology to work with the production team and engineers.
• Improving and modifying facility layout – workflow and material flow guidelines.
