Job summary

Plains All American is seeking 3-month Engineering Interns for its Houston downtown office. The program runs across various engineering groups and starts May 17, 2027.

Interns will gain hands-on exposure to data gathering, analysis, and engineering project work aligned with degree studies. Successful candidates will work with mentoring professionals, participate in meaningful projects, and have opportunities to develop networks within the energy infrastructure sector.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in one of the listed engineering fields.
• Previous internship or work experience is an asset.
• Analytical, creative, collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset desirable.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support engineering teams on data gathering, analysis and presentation.
• Contribute to evaluation and development of engineering solutions for asset performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Create and update technical reports using Microsoft tools, Oracle, and SharePoint.
• Support process improvement initiatives by applying engineering principles and available technologies.
• Attend internal and external meetings as applicable and present findings after assigned projects.
