The City of Delaware, OH is seeking an Engineering Intern to support the Public Works department in both office and field tasks related to daily operations, capital projects, private development, and field studies. You will assist with data collection, surveys, and maintaining engineering records while working under the Deputy City Engineer.

Ideal candidates are high school graduates or students majoring in civil engineering, possess a valid Ohio driver's license, and demonstrate honesty and

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferably enrolled and attending a college or university with major coursework in civil engineering or related field.
• Possession of valid Ohio driver's license.
• Must be honest, dependable and trustworthy.

Mansioni

• Assists engineering staff with collecting field measurements and data, quantities, photographs and other tasks relating to investigation, development, design and layout of engineering capital and private development projects.
• Performs traffic surveys, vehicle counts, pavement coring, speed studies and computer data input and analysis.
• Assists in the daily organization, maintenance and upkeep of engineering records.
• Performs other related engineering and technical duties as assigned.
