Job summary

Fishbeck invites a Civil Engineering student to join a municipal internship across regional Ohio offices. You will assist in designing water mains, sewers, and roadways, and perform calculations and cost estimates using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Site visits and cross-office collaboration will shape real-world infrastructure projects.

Strong communication and organizational skills are required; familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus. Prior internships are helpful but not required.

• Internship or co-op experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing water mains, sanitary sewers, and roadways for municipalities.
• Perform design calculations, develop cost estimates, and draft plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Participate in site visits to gather data and observe field conditions.
• Collaborate with engineers across multiple offices and disciplines.
• Contribute to real projects that improve infrastructure and public services.
