Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a BLUvera Engineering Intern to join our team for a May–August 2027 internship. You will work directly with project teams to learn through hands-on experience, solving real problems, staying organized, and communicating across teams from day one.

You will help with change orders, drawings, RFIs, purchasing, and coordination meetings while building a foundation for a career in construction, engineering, and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate four-year degree in Construction Management, Construction, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Preferred: previous internship experience.
• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate junior.
• Demonstrate collaboration, communication, problem-solving, initiative and leadership.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Complete construction change orders and manage shop drawings and RFIs.
• Assist with purchase orders and subcontractor agreements.
• Coordinate construction sequencing and schedule maintenance.
• Collaborate in preconstruction and pre-installation meetings.
• Attend subcontractor coordination meetings and assist with correspondence.
• Utilize industry-leading technology to support manufacturing for construction processes.
• Support material procurement activities.
