Job summary

Compeer is offering an Engineering Intern role in Minnesota, with a summer-long, full-time internship through Summer 2027. You will work within a cross-functional product team under experienced engineers, building and operating modern digital solutions while learning cloud-native, DevSecOps, and AI-enabled tooling.

You will grow in a supportive environment with flexible schedules, hybrid work options up to 50% at home, and a pathway toward an Associate Engineer role.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical discipline.
• Coursework in programming, software engineering fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, or related subjects.
• Experience with software development through coursework, projects, or open source.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering delivery by completing defined tasks with focus on quality, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Learn team technologies and cloud-native, DevSecOps, CI/CD practices; contribute to automated testing and deployment.
• Collaborate across teams to connect engineering work to product goals and business value.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, and documentation to strengthen team outcomes.
