Job summary

Sundt is seeking committed engineering (Civil, Structural, and Mechanical) and construction management students for internships across the United States, including active projects in Arizona. This program offers hands-on experience on challenging construction initiatives and the opportunity to develop leadership skills in a premier contractor.

Qualifications

• Team player ready to take on challenges.
• Currently enrolled in a four-year Construction Management or Engineering program.
• Eager to learn, curious, and ready to get hands dirty.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project record keeping, shop drawings, and cost control records.
• Assist with report preparation, safety inspections, submittal logging and processing.
• Assist with surveying, testing, sampling, drawing correction and filing.
• Assist with timekeeping and cost control, inventory control, schedule checks, subcontractor monitoring.
• Attend bid openings and conferences; take notes and complete forms.
• Observe and report on meetings and conduct site tours for visitors.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, call vendors and subcontractors for proposals.
• Work as a laborer, helper, clerk, or technician assistant.
