Job summary

SRK Consulting is seeking an Engineering Intern (Civil, Geotechnical, Environmental) to join our Reno office. You will support the engineering team on projects, perform calculations, assist with earthworks design, and participate in field visits to sites related to mining consulting.

The role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and professional growth, with exposure to a range of mining and metals sector projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or recent graduate.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel and Word.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities and ability to work in a team.
• Desire to learn about the mining consulting industry.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering team on special projects such as engineering calculations and earthworks design.
• Conduct field work or site visits and contribute to site assessments.
• Review technical reports and assist in preparation of deliverables.
