Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Nevada or ability to obtain registration.
• Minimum 3 years of mining industry consulting experience.
• Ability to collaborate with mining, geochemistry, geotechnics, groundwater and environmental disciplines.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Execution and technical participation in civil design for mine waste and water engineering, permitting, and closure projects.
• Project management of technical deliverables, budgets, and schedules.
• Consulting on domestic and international projects.
• Participation in conceptual through detailed design and permitting processes.
• Preparation and review of supporting engineering calculations, models, methods.
• Interface with clients and site visits / inspections as necessary.
• Active engagement in development and advancement of SRK's engineering practice.
• Active engagement in mentoring others and business development.
• Other duties as assigned
