Job summary

Metro Engineering Solutions, LLC seeks motivated Civil and Electrical Engineering interns to join our team for a hands-on learning experience. Interns will work with experienced engineers on real-world projects across design, fieldwork, and project management.

You'll assist with engineering designs, site visits, data collection, and documentation while developing practical skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MATLAB.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong academic background with interest in practical applications.
• Familiarity with engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MATLAB, or similar) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of engineering designs, drawings, and technical documents.
• Conduct field visits to collect data, perform inspections, and support project activities.
• Support project teams in planning, design, and construction oversight.
• Perform research, calculations, and analysis to assist in engineering solutions.
• Help coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project records, reports, and documentation.
• Contribute to problem-solving discussions and propose innovative ideas.
