Job summary

Menasha Corporation offers engineering internship opportunities that partner with our two leading businesses, Menasha Packaging and ORBIS. Interns work under the guidance of the Engineering team to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering fundamentals and project execution.

You will assist in designing, developing, and testing engineering projects, while creating drawings in AutoCAD or SolidWorks and organizing project data for leadership review.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or a recent graduate of engineering program (i.e. Mechanical, Manufacturing, Plastics).
• Hold a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
• Experience with prototyping, testing, or CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, development, and testing of engineering projects.
• Create and update drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software.
• Organize and maintain project documentation and data.
• Identify and optimize a process to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and optimize material usage.
• Analyze current quality control processes, identify common defects and their root causes, and propose solutions to improve product quality.
• Present project outcomes to leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.
