Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking an Engineering Intern to support design, drafting, and project coordination on building systems. You will work under guidance of experienced engineers, assist with calculations, layouts, and documentation, and develop practical skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam Revu.

The internship runs May 24, 2027 – August 6, 2027, with opportunities for learning, networking, and professional development within a collaborative, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field from an ABET-accredited university.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Familiarity with CAD software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering calculations and system design under supervision.
• Prepare system layouts, drawings, schematics, and project documentation.
• Support drafting and modeling efforts using AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam Revu.
• Develop proficiency in design and documentation software.
• Participate in internship meetings, training programs, and company-sponsored activities.
