Job summary

Henderson Engineers invites an Engineering Intern to join our Kansas City team this summer. You will assist with design calculations, layouts, and project coordination while gaining hands-on experience in building systems engineering.

Under supervision, you’ll work with AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam Revu, participate in training, and develop professional skills in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field from an ABET-accredited university.
• Coursework or experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks or other CAD software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering calculations and system design under supervision.
• Prepare system layouts, drawings, schematics, and project documentation.
• Support drafting and modeling using AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam Revu.
• Participate in internship meetings, training, and company-sponsored activities.
• Provide project and administrative support as needed.
