Sunbelt Controls is seeking an Engineering Intern to support the Engineering Group and assist Design Engineers in daily tasks. The role includes learning the ALC design tool, understanding department processes, and participating in the engineering development program.

The internship emphasizes hands-on training, field collaboration with technicians, and documentation of projects. Strong organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited engineering program, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of related work experience in building automation systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities; able to work in a high-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Visio preferred for diagrams and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist Design Engineers with project tasks and engineering functions.
• Receive training in engineering design tools and processes.
• Participate in the development program for entry-level engineers.
• Support field commissioning and prepare as-built documentation.
• Contribute to project closeout activities and site communications.
• Ensure safety training completion and effective teamwork.
