Job summary

Collins Engineers in Port Arthur, TX is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. The position blends office work with field experience in transportation projects, offering hands-on exposure to inspections, calculations, and design documentation.

Junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's in civil engineering from an accredited university is preferred. Relocation assistance is available, and prior AutoCAD/MicroStation or Civil 3D exposure is a plus.

Collins offers an opportunity for a civil engineering student to gain experience in the transportation industry. The Port Arthur, Texas, office has an opening for a Civil Engineering Intern position for Summer 2027. This position will be a combination of office and time in the field.

Qualifications: What We're Looking For:

• Junior or senior working towards a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
• Previous software experience in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bluebeam, or Civil 3D is a plus.
• Previous software experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe PDF or other PDF editing software is a plus.
• A valid driver's license.
