Calling all undergrad civil engineering students! Collins offers an opportunity for a civil engineering student to gain experience doing construction inspections. The Downers Grove, IL, office has an opening for a Civil/Construction Engineering Intern position for Summer 2027. This position will spend the majority of your day in the field on active construction projects.

• Assist in the completion of construction inspections and field reporting.

Qualifications Education and/or Experience:

• Junior or senior working towards a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Previous software experience in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Blue Beam, or Civil 3D is aplus.
• Previous software experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe PDF or other PDF editing software is aplus.
• A valid driver's license.
