Collins Engineers in Port Arthur, TX is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. The position blends office work with field experience in transportation projects, offering hands-on exposure to inspections, calculations, and design documentation.

Junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's in civil engineering from an accredited university is preferred. Relocation assistance is available, and prior AutoCAD/MicroStation or Civil 3D exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering; junior or senior.
• Eligible for Summer 2027 internship in Port Arthur, TX.
• Valid driver's license; relocation available is a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, or Bluebeam is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs structural inspections and prepares inspection reports.
• Prepares and/or checks structural calculations.
• Uses computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare documents.
• Field work will be required.
• Other duties may be assigned.
