Job summary

SEL Inc. is offering an internship-style position focused on supporting staff and customers with technical expertise in SEL processes and technologies in a hands-on environment.

You will test new and existing technology, document results, and learn SEL Values and World Class Manufacturing Principles. Applicants gain practical knowledge of 3-phase power systems, emulators, logic analyzers, and SEL relays and automation controllers while developing reporting and documentation skills in a

Qualifications

  • Experience in programming and script files.
  • Practical knowledge of 3-phase power systems.
  • Working knowledge of emulators and logic analyzers.
  • Ability to use MS Windows and serial port terminal emulation software.
  • Practical knowledge of SEL protective relays & automation controllers.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Visio.
  • Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
  • Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities; ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Background check results satisfactory to SEL.
  • Negative drug test results.
