Job summary

EAC Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer Intern (Fulltime) to join our Civil Team in the Miami or Ft. Lauderdale offices. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience across multiple engineering disciplines during your first two years of employment.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; EIT certification is preferred. The firm provides strong benefits and a clear path for professional development within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• EIT certification preferred for this entry-level role.
• Entry Level to pre-registration experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Develops plans, specifications, and reports in accordance with engineering standards and client requirements.
• Field investigations or inspections.
• Detailed design work.
• Detailed checks of design computations and plans done by others.
• Coordination of specific design elements.
• Utilizes tools and procedures to develop designs, construction drawings and specifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develops plans, specifications, and reports in accordance with engineering standards and client requirements.
  • Field investigations or inspections;
  • Detailed design work;
  • Detailed checks of design computations and plans done by others;
  • Coordination of specific design elements.

EXPERIENCE:

• Entry Level to pre-registration.
