Job summary

EAC Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the Miami-based Program Management Team at MIA. The role involves leading design and management of infrastructure projects and coordinating with A/E consultants and contractors.

You will apply cost control and contract management to meet client requirements, typically with five years of experience and a civil engineering degree; PE license preferred.

Qualifications

  • Typically five years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred).
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall design and management of assigned projects and coordination of the A/E Consults of Record and the Contractor.
  • Performs and directs others in accordance with the EAC's policies and to the satisfaction of the client’s requirements.
  • Coordinates all aspects of the project to ensure an effective design that meets the needs of the stakeholders.
  • Assures that each project team complies with the contract agreement as well as exercises rigid cost control to implement the approved design within established budget restraints.
  • Identifies causes for revisions to projects and whether such changes are billable to the client.
  • Responsible for contract and scope management

Essential Functions
