Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Milford, Michigan three times per week, at minimum.

We’re seeking an Engineering Group Manager to lead our Software Architecture team, a high-impact group that defines and evolves GM’s Software Architecture strategies across all vehicle platform domains. You are a confident, execution-oriented leader simplifies complex situations, drives alignment across functions, crushes ambiguity and moves with urgency. You will challenge constructively, make sound decisions under pressure, and ensure critical issues are addressed and driven to resolution. • Influence cross-functional partners, including teams that may be skeptical or resistant, to align on priorities, decisions, and standards

• Resolve competing demands, sensitive situations, and conflicts with other teams while keeping the organization focused on outcomes

• Navigate ambiguity, define clear action plans, assign ownership, and maintain momentum until results are delivered

• Speak candidly about risks, roadblocks, and gaps
