Job summary

Advantage Technical is seeking an Engineering Group Lead to support a leading OEM manufacturer in Dundee, MI. This temporary, fully onsite role leads engineering-driven continuous improvement across production lines, from new capacity implementation to advanced problem-solving.

You will lead engineers, manage project schedules and budgets, and collaborate with suppliers on new model programs. Strong engineering background and 5+ years of relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering leadership or manufacturing.
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers in achieving continuous improvement goals across new and existing capacity.
• Manage project schedules, budgets/forecasts, and issue tracking to closure.
• Support and create budgetary cost estimates for new and retool studies; participate with suppliers on new model programs.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting support to improve OEE, MTBF, and MTTR.
• Oversee updates to process equipment documentation and spare parts cataloging.
