Job summary

Generac is seeking a Senior Engineering Financial Analyst to support budget planning, forecasts, month-end accruals, and capital expenditure tracking within the Corporate Engineering team in Wisconsin. You will liaise with Finance, Accounting and Business Group leaders to deliver financial analyses and drive profitability improvements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in accounting/finance and at least 3 years of FP&A or financial analysis experience, with advanced Excel and SAP/BI skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relevant business.
• Minimum 3 years in accounting, FP&A, or financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel with financial modeling.
• Experience with SAP and BI systems.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and P&L.
• GAAP knowledge and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor the Corporate Engineering budget.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and monthly variance analysis.
• Prepare month-end accruals and reporting for core functions.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analyses for engineering initiatives.
• Assist with Purchase Requisitions and Capital Expenditure tracking.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting and Business Group leaders.
