Job summary

RTX is seeking a P3 Financial Analyst to support Test Solutions within the Hardware Engineering Discipline. This role delivers financial planning, forecasting, and cost analysis to Engineering leaders, with emphasis on OH variance, labor planning, and investment evaluation.

The position offers a hybrid work model in US MA TEWKSBURY, with a focus on data-driven reporting, financial controls, and collaboration across technical and financial stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
• Working experience with MS Office tools including Excel

Responsibilities

• Support monthly OH variance analysis, and reporting for the Test Solutions Center
• Develop and maintain monthly forecasts, and Annual Operating Plan inputs for OH categories
• Partner with Engineering leadership to manage cost performance, identify risks/opportunities, and ensure alignment with organizational priorities
• Provide routine and ad‑hoc financial reporting to highlight trends, drivers, and actionable insights
• Support labor planning, rate impacts, resource management, and Engineering investment analysis
• Maintain strong financial controls and compliance with corporate policies
• Support quarterly Pool EAC reporting while delivering timely, data‑driven insights for Pool owners
• Drive reporting improvements and support digital finance initiatives
