Job summary

The Walsh Group, Walsh Construction & Archer Western, seeks interns for Pocatello, Idaho. The internship program prepares you for leadership positions on and off the jobsite, with travel across the United States and hands-on experience in project engineering and field management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• The ability to work a 12-week work schedule is preferred.
• Specific roles may require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Assisting project manager or field supervision staff with project coordination
• Estimating cost for change orders
• Soliciting bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity
• Scheduling of various contracts and materials
• Document control
• Coordination of subcontractors
• Safety management
• Participation in team meetings
• Writing RFIs, submittals, and assisting in change orders

Education

Bachelor's degree (preferred)
