Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking interns in Pocatello, Idaho to support project engineering and field management on diverse construction projects. Interns will work on-site or in offices, gaining hands-on experience across estimating and preconstruction activities.

Selected interns may be prepared for full-time roles after college, with opportunities to travel across the United States and participate in team-based projects and meetings.

Qualifications

• Seeking a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• The ability to work a 12-week work schedule is preferred.
• Specific roles may require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Assisting project manager or field supervision staff with project coordination
• Estimating cost for change orders
• Soliciting bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity
• Scheduling of various contracts and materials
• Document control
• Coordination of subcontractors
• Safety management
• Participation in team meetings
• Writing RFIs, submittals, and assisting in change orders
