Job summary

The Westin at Frenchman\'s Reef, located in the U.S. Virgin Islands, is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the property’s engineering team and oversee strategic planning, maintenance, and energy efficiency initiatives.

You will manage facilities systems, collaborate with other departments, and drive sustainable practices to enhance guest experiences. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of HVAC/engineering leadership in hospitality, with refrigeration certification and strong knowledge of

Qualifications

Experience as Director or Assistant Director in hospitality engineering.
3–5 years experience with hotel HVAC systems.
Refrigeration, HVAC certification.
Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, life safety systems.
Budget management and financial responsibility experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize engineering operations and enhance overall efficiency.
Oversee the maintenance, repair, and renovation of the property's infrastructure and systems.
Manage the engineering team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to drive excellence.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of engineering services.
