Job summary

The Westin at Frenchman’s Reef in St. Thomas seeks a Director of Engineering to guide engineering operations, oversee a skilled team, and drive energy efficiency and infrastructure excellence. You’ll partner with multiple departments to ensure seamless service and standout guest experiences.

Lead improvements across electrical, HVAC, and life-safety systems, manage budgets, and uphold safety standards while promoting innovation and teamwork in a luxury hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as Director or Assistant Director in a large property.
• HVAC, refrigeration, electrical and life safety systems knowledge.
• Budget management and financial responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize engineering operations.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and renovation of infrastructure and systems.
• Manage the engineering team with guidance and mentorship.
• Collaborate with departments to integrate engineering services.
• Implement energy-efficient and sustainable initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
