These positions may be filled for a six month seasonal period, but can be vary due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty April-May, 2027. Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Operates gas or diesel powered engineering and construction equipment with wheeled or crawler-type traction, such as road graders, tractors with bulldozer or angle dozer blades, front-end loaders, backhoes, wheel loaders, trench diggers, and large industrial tractors with pan or scraper attachments.
Operates equipment to push, pull, pile, excavate, backfill, grade, or level earth and/or refuse. Uses equipment to perform such functions as cutting, moving, digging, grading, and rolling earth, sand, stone, and other materials to maintain ditches, road shoulders, and beds.
There is no substitution of education for experience for Federal Wage System (FWS) positions.

The posted pay range is $27.24 – $28.58/hr.
